Congratulations to Jessica Mabie, MHA, senior director of facility operations at Oishei Children's Hospital, who was named on this year's "40 Under 40" list by Buffalo Business First.
This year's winners work in the medical field, at law firms and run their own businesses. They give their time, talent and treasure to local nonprofits. And they are committed to improving their communities.
Mabie was instrumental in the hospital's move to the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus in 2017. She currently manages facility operations and projects with leaders from food operations and environmental services. She also collaborates with the hospital operations team at Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute on access, linen, switchboard and patient transport.
This marks the 28th year that Business First has chosen 40 young leaders for recognition. This year's class brings the total number of honorees over the years to 1,120.
The thrust of the awards hasn’t changed since the program’s inception in 1992. The goal has always been to identify 40 men and women — under age 40, of course — who are successful in their professions and heavily involved in community activities.
This year's 40 Under 40 winners were chosen from nearly 250 nominations.
