The Foundations of Kaleida Health have partnered with artists to host virtual performances, supporting our COVID-19 Response Fund.
- This Friday, April 17, Maelyn Jarmon, winner of season 16 of NBC's The Voice, will host a live Instagram performance at 4 p.m., promoting donations to Kaleida Health's COVID-19 Response Fund. Maelyn created a connection with Kaleida Health when she joined us at the 42nd Annual Festival of Trees black tie gala in December and visited with patients at Oishei Children's Hospital. She welcomed the opportunity to connect with us again and support the work of our healthcare team during COVID-19.
- On Saturday, April 11, Goo Goo Dolls' Robby Takac hosted a virtual acoustic performance for attendees who donated any amount to gain access to the event. The event raised over $3,000 for the COVID-19 Response Fund. The performance was recorded and will air this Saturday, April 18 at 10 p.m. on WGRZ, Channel 2.
- The Foundations partnered with The Advantage Company to host a week-long virtual COVATHON event that included two live virtual performances, online live auction and shopping. The event raised over $26,400 in just one week for the COVID-19 Response Fund, showing the incredible support from the Western New York community for our dedicated healthcare workers.
The Foundations continue to work to reach out to the community during this time to support the teams across Kaleida Health as they tirelessly fight this pandemic and care for Western New Yorkers.
The COVID-19 Response Fund will provide critical funding and support for supplies, recruitment and care to Kaleida Health during and throughout recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.
