Students from the University at Buffalo's Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences are working to build and provide local hospitals with plastic face shields as a way to support the healthcare workers of our community during this unprecedented and uncertain time.
The students recently donated 100 face shields to Kaleida Health, and they plan to make and deliver more soon.
In addition, the students set up a GoFundMe page to help produce more face shields for local healthcare workers.
