Kathryn Witherell, MS, LSHA, has been named director of long-term care at DeGraff Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Facility and director of post-acute care, General Physician, PC (GPPC).
Witherell has served as the director of clinical services in post-acute care, primary care and nephrology for GPPC since 2018. In her new role, she will oversee operations at the long-term care facility and continue to develop and enhance post-acute care initiatives within the Great Lakes Health System.
Tina Ford, director of nursing, announced her resignation in April to pursue other opportunities, and Stanley Gasiewicz, director of long-term care, will retire May 31. On behalf of Kaleida Health, please join me in thanking Tina and Stan for their service and dedication to our residents and staff at DeGraff. We wish them all the best in their next chapter.
Paul Markel, director of long-term care reimbursement quality at HighPointe on Michigan will move to interim director of nursing at DeGraff.
