Matthew Drake, MBA, CMA, FHFMA, today was named executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Kaleida Health.
“Matt steps in to the role at a very exciting time for the organization,” said Bob Nesselbush, CEO of Kaleida Health. “Despite some difficult external forces that we face, we are poised for tremendous transformation and growth these next few years. Matt and the entire finance team worked very hard these past 18 months to help us stabilize our financial position; I am confident that his leadership and talent will help us chart our strategic path forward.”

In the CFO role, Drake will also lead strategy and growth initiatives for the organization.
Drake came to Kaleida Health from Rochester Regional Health, where he served as vice president of business development and network growth. As the business development leader of the $2.9 billion health system, Drake led efforts to expand the network of providers, hospitals, ambulatory destination campuses and urgent care centers.
He also led the planning and implementation of five ambulatory destination campuses; business planning process for a 3-hospital health system acquisition; and acquisition of 80 practices, representing 140 physicians and 86 advanced practice providers.
